Activity Review | 2019 iDDA Ph.D Data Science Summer Camp Was Held from July 29 to July 30

The first Ph.D Data Science Summer Camp organized by Institute for Data and Decision Analytics was held at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen from July 29 to July 30, 2019. Excellent students from key universities at home and abroad started a two-day Ph.D summer camp. During the summer camp, the students took part in lectures delivered by the world's top scholars, had close communications with academic professors, learnt experiences from current Ph.D students and visited the campus, laboratories and so on. At the same time, campers could have a deeper understanding of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen and the doctoral program of Institute for Data and Decision Analytics, building a two-way communication bridge and a platform for students who want to pursue further studies.

On the morning of July 29, the Ph.D Data Science Summer Camp organized by Institute for Data and Decision Analytics of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen officially opened. Professor Tom Luo, Vice President (Academic) of CUHK-Shenzhen delivered a welcome speech.
