Hanyang University visited CUHK-Shenzhen

Mr. Jin-seok Seo, Director of International Affairs Office (OIA) and Ms. Lydia Yoon, Associate Manager of OIA from Hanyang University (HYU) visited CUHK-Shenzhen on 25 October 2019.

A meeting was held between HYU and CUHK-Shenzhen Office of Academic Links (OAL) as to review existing partnerships and explore potential collaboration in staff sharing, short-term internship and tripartite programs.

Besides, an information session was successfully held in Rm.102 Zhixin Building. Ms. Yoon gave a thorough introduction regarding HYU’s history, summer and winter programs.

Founded in 1939, Hanyang University is widely recognized as one of the leading private research universities of South Korea, especially in the field of engineering. It has established international cooperation in the areas of education, research and industry with 820 universities all over the world. According to 2020 QS World University Ranking, HYU ranks 150th in the world and 7th in South Korea. CUHK-Shenzhen has been collaborating with HYU in Student Exchange Program and Summer Program since 2016.
