Spring Couplet Writing with Professor Xu to Welcome the New Year

In joyous anticipation for the Chinese New Year, on the evening of January 19, the Calligraphy Society, Kam-ash Society, and Handicraft Society jointly organized “Nian Qu” in front of the library. The wide variety of activities included couplet writing, coloring of New Year paintings, paper cutting, New Year screening, cockfighting game, etc. This year, in addition to local students, present were also international exchange students and high-school students from all over the country who were participating in the Winter Camp, contributing to the lively and cheerful atmosphere. Following tradition, Professor Xu Yangsheng and the students joined forces in creating calligraphy to greet the coming of an auspicious year!
