CUHK(SZ) and U-M Launch Joint BS-MS Degree Program
According to the joint press release by The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen(CUHK(SZ)) and the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor(U-M), top Science and Engineering students from CUHK(SZ) can now get to study in the Bioinformatics Master’s program at the famed Medical School of U-M and obtain both the CUHK Bachelor of Science Degree and the U-M Master of Science Degree within 5 years.
CUHK(SZ) and U-M have just announced the launch of this unique “3.5+1.5 BS-MS” combined program. Under this program, top CUHK(SZ) students who are able to complete their undergraduate studies within 3.5 years may apply and be admitted into the MS in Bioinformatics at the U-M Medical School with the GRE or TOFEL tests being waived.
The inaugural batch of students in this program will start their studies at U-M in the 2018 Winter semester. CUHK(SZ) undergraduate students majoring in Bioinformatics, Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science and Engineering will be eligible applicants.
