Agreement of Cooperation between CUHK (SZ) and UBC Signed

Prof. Qin, Vice President of CUHK (SZ), signed On Behalf of the University an agreement with the University of British Columbia on jointly undergraduates cultivating in global supply chains major. It means that undergraduates majoring in this major will have an opportunity to study in CUHK(SZ), Copenhagen Business School and University of British Columbia in turn during their third year of college.

This agreement involves CUHK(SZ), Copenhagen Business School(CBS) and University of British Columbia(UBC).CBS, one of the biggest business schools in the Europe, obtained the third portion in the rank for business schools in 2013 (Only less than The Harvard Business School and The London Business School). UBC, famous in teaching and researching, rank the 22th in world college rankings. After signing the agreement, students will benefits from resources and internships in 4 areas. They also enables to experience different economic environment and various economic culture. A series of activities, including field trip, enterprises visiting, business case competition, leadership training, business mentorship program, guest lectures, seminars, will adapt them to intercultural situation and broaden their international horizon.

Global supply chains is the part of international business course, which have learned experience of global business CUHK business school. Tight correlation and cooperation in international business courses of the three top business school from North America, Europe and Asia train talent students to international business leaders. Students in this major enables to study and live with foreign students, they also have opportunity to communicate with successful corporation leaders. These experience help them build international connection with counterparts in future career and broaden their international horizon.
