University of Edinburgh Visited CUHK-Shenzhen

A delegation from University of Edinburgh lead by Prof. Dave Robertson, Vice-Principal and Head of the College of Science and Engineering visited CUHK-Shenzhen on 5 Dec. 2017.

A delegation from University of Edinburgh lead by Prof. Dave Robertson, Vice-Principal and Head of the College of Science and Engineering visited CUHK-Shenzhen on 5 Dec. 2017.

 

President Xu received the visitors. Prof. Jesús Seade, Associate Vice President for Global Affairs, Prof. Chen Changwen, Dean of School of Science and Engineering and other representatives from CUHK-Shenzhen attended the meeting. The aim of this visit is for University of Edinburgh and CUHK-Shenzhen to strengthen communication in potential collaboration areas and reach an agreement on accelerating the process of launching cooperative projects between the two universities.

 

 

Founded in 1583, the University of Edinburgh is the sixth oldest university in the English-speaking world, which is deeply embedded in the fabric of the city of Edinburgh. It is one of the most popular and successful universities in UK and is ranked 23rd in the QS World University Rankings 2017/2018. A total number of 25 Nobel laureates are affiliated with the University of Edinburgh.
