University of Oxford visited CUHK-Shenzhen

Dr. Yuchen Lu, Liaison Officer of Oxford Prospects and Global Development Centre at University of Oxford visited The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen on 8th December 2017.

Dr. Yuchen Lu, Liaison Officer of Oxford Prospects and Global Development Centre at University of Oxford visited The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen on 8th December 2017.

 

Dr. Lu was warmly welcomed by Mr. Changqing Ke, Academic Links Director and other representatives from Office of Academic Links. A meeting was held to discuss further details of existing collaboration programmes and potential collaboration in the future. During the meeting, University of Oxford agreed to waive the English Language requirement for CUHK-Shenzhen students. 

 

In the afternoon, Information Session of Oxford Programme was successfully held at 102 Chengdao Building. Dr. Lu exhibited the introductory video of  Oxford and elaborated all details about both programmes including basic information, application requirements, programme fee as well as the unique Tutorial System of Oxford. Students showed great interests in both programmes and asked various questions. Dr. Lu and colleagues from Office of Academic Links answered students’ questions accordingly with details and encouragement.
