Visit of UCI Business School
Mr. Joe Davenport, Associate Director of Office of Executive Education from The Paul Merage School of Business at UC Irvine (UCI), visited CUHK-Shenzhen on 26 November 2018 to explore educational collaboration opportunities with CUHK-Shenzhen School of Management and Economics (SME). Mr. Davenport was receive by Prof. Michael Ferguson, Senior Associate Dean of SME, Ms. Melody Wang, Manager of Office of Academic Links and other representatives.
CUHK-Shenzhen has been collaborating with UCI in Summer Session Program from 2017. From this year, the collaboration between the two institutions has been expanded to Semester Visiting Program and 3+2 Bachelor-Master Arrangement in Engineering.
Founded in 1965, the University of California, Irvine is a world leading public research university and a member of the Association of American Universities. According to 2019 U.S. News & World Report’s, UCI ranks 33rd in National Universities, and 10th in Public University. The Paul Merage School of Business ranks 42nd in Best Business Schools, its Full-Time MBA ranks 14th among public institutions.
