Artist in Residence

To create an artistic atmosphere of the University and develop students’ aesthetic taste, starting from 2016, the University launched an Artist in Residence Program. Professional artists of international fame are selected from different artistic fields all over the world to reside on campus, producing art and communicating with students. The program aims at enriching humanistic and artistic atmosphere, creating a dialogue between arts and students, and letting the students feel the charm of arts and humanities at a close range.

There are two cycles for artists in residence: a short term lasting five to ten days and a long term one lasting one to two months. Artists will make arts with the students and guide them through workshops or lectures. Artistic creation, combined with resources available around campus, will contribute to the development of general education of the University.
