Exchange Programme Agreement Signed with New Economic School
Prof. Shlomo Weber, Rector of New Economic School visited CUHK-Shenzhen on 21 Nov. 2017. President Yangsheng Xu met with Prof. Shlomo Weber, and the student exchange agreement was signed.
Prof. Jesús Seade, Associate Vice President for Global Affairs, Prof. Liu Min, Executive Associate Dean of Shenzhen Finance Institute, Paul Ke, Director of Office of Academic Links and other representatives from OAL attended a meeting to introduce the University’s development history and discipline construction, with a view to explore collaboration opportunities between the two universities, including summer and winter programme, joint research programme, etc. Both sides reached a consensus and placed high importance on establishing joint research centre.

Established in 1992, New Economic School (NES) is a school of economics in Moscow, Russia. It is the first private university in Russia after the fall of communism, and the only one that does not depend on government funding. NES takes 2nd place in the Top 25% Institutions in Russia RePEc.
