University of Exeter Visited CUHK-Shenzhen

Prof. Mark Goodwin, Deputy Vice Chancellor for External Engagement, Mr. Richard Foord, Deputy Head of Global Partnerships, and Ms. Limin Dai, Senior Business Development Manager at University of Exeter visited CUHK-Shenzhen on 5th March 2018.

Prof. Mark Goodwin, Deputy Vice Chancellor for External Engagement, Mr. Richard Foord, Deputy Head of Global Partnerships, and Ms. Limin Dai, Senior Business Development Manager at University of Exeter visited CUHK-Shenzhen on 5th March 2018. Prof. Jesús Seade, Associate Vice President for Global Affairs received the visitors and hosted a meeting. Mr. Paul Ke, Director of Academic Links and other representatives from CUHK-Shenzhen attended the meeting. The aim of this visit is for two institutions to explore possible cooperation, including tripartite student exchange, joint-degree arrangement, co-supervised post-doctoral fellowship and faculty-sharing programme in the areas of environmental engineering and data science, as well as expanding the existing two-way exchange from Business majored students based to university-wide cooperation.

 

 

 

CUHK-Shenzhen signed exchange, visiting and 4+1 programme agreements with University of Exeter in January 2016. Till now, the cooperation relationship has been successfully continued for 2 years. During the past two years, CUHK-Shenzhen has sent 7 students for exchange and 12 students for visiting programme. Up to now, 7 CUHK-Shenzhen students have received offers from Exeter and they will be able to pursue their Master degrees in Exeter in 2018.
