On January 10, 2020, the "Phase of Pharmacy" sponsored by the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) School of Life and Health Sciences conducted the second phase of expert consultation and seminar. Seminars were honored to attend more academic medicine experts:Professor Bi Kaishun, former president of Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, Professor Xie Zhiyong, associate dean of Shenzhen Pharmaceutical College of Sun Yat-sen University, Professor Guan Xiaodong, director of the Department of Pharmaceutical Affairs and Clinical Pharmacy of Peking University School of Pharmacy, and Jin Huizi, researcher of Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Pharmacy.

First of all, President Zhu welcomed the experts to come to our school and thanked the experts for their strong support for our professional application. Dean Ye introduced the development status of the college to the experts and introduced the application status of the pharmacy specialty of our college in detail. During the meeting, the four experts affirmed our hospital's application for the advantages of pharmacy and put forward many relevant suggestions, and conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges with participating teachers. This seminar played a key role in the establishment and improvement of pharmacy curriculum in our hospital.

After the meeting, Professor Liang Yongbo from SSE, Professor Ruobing Ren from LHS, and Dr. Jihang Chen led a team of experts to visit the chemistry teaching laboratory, Kobilka Cryoelectron Microscopy Center, biochemistry teaching laboratory, and molecular biology teaching laboratory And microbiology teaching laboratory.

The first and second consultations and seminars on "Pharmaceutical Discipline Construction" were successfully concluded at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen). The School of Life and Health Sciences aims to train outstanding talents with rigorous thinking and broad horizons, and will open a third undergraduate specialty in pharmacy in 2020. The college attaches great importance to this professional application. Fortunately, it has invited eight experts from the well-known universities of pharmacy in China to impart valuable experience to the establishment of the pharmacy specialty of our college.
