CUHK-Shenzhen Established Social Practice Center and Held The First Social Good Festival
Social Practice Center of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen was established on Oct.11th. The center aims at building a sharing platform, on which social resources inside and outside of the University will be integrated. With the platform, students will learn more about society and take part in social practice and a variety of activities. Gaining experience through practice, students are encouraged to actively take part in all kinds of activities, attain a better understanding about the social good and social innovation, and apply what they learn to serve society. The theme of the first CUHK-Shenzhen Social Good Festival is “X for Infinity”. Successful lectures, lively discussion, and exhibitions were held to further intrigue faculty and students.
