On the evening of February 11, the students changed into new dresses and participated in an event “Paper Cuts and Couplets Writing” at the Library to usher in the year of the sheep.

President Yangsheng Xu showed up and appreciated the artistic beauty of calligraphy and paper cuts with over 100 students. As requested, he wrote several couplets and presented them as the New Year gifts. The students were amazed by his mastery of various writing styles and surprised to find that Mr. Xu incorporated their names into his writing.

Later many students put up the couplets and paper cuts on their doors and windows, giving off an air of auspicious redness.
