Visit from the University of South Carolina
Prof. Chin-Tser Huang, Global Carolina Regional Director of China, from the University of South Carolina (USC), visited CUHK-Shenzhen on 17 May 2018 to explore collaboration opportunities in Integrated Bachelor-Master Arrangement and student exchange program. Prof. Huang was received by Prof. Jesús Seade, Associate Vice President for Global Affairs, Prof. Yan Zhou and Prof. Tsung Hui Chang, Co-Chairs of Global Affairs Committee, School of Science and Engineering, Ms. Melody Wang, Manager of Office of Academic Links and other representatives.
CUHK-Shenzhen and USC have built a successful partnership. President Yangsheng Xu signed a strategic cooperation agreement with President Harris Pastides during his visit to CUHK-Shenzhen in January 2017. Later in August 2017, the two universities have expanded the collaboration and developed a tripartite program in Global Business and Innovation together with the University of Auckland.

Many of its programs are ranked top 50, among which the International Business program is ranked first in the nation.
