The Opening of Papercutting in Shenzhen: Joint Exhibition of Works by Wu Zili, He Wenmin and Lin Beihua was successfully held on 5 September. The two artists, Mr. Wu Zili and Ms. He Wenmin participated. Vice President (Administration) K.C. Yuen and Director of Administration Services Office and University Planning and Coordination Office attended the Opening on behalf of the University and exchanged souvenirs with the artists.

Vice President (Administration) K.C. Yuen and Mr. Wu Zili gave a speech respectively at the Opening, both emphasizing on the art inheritance and creativity of papercutting which is in keeping with the University motto ‘to combine tradition with modernity; to bring together China and the West’.

Besides, Director of Hakka Museum Luo Chaoqun, Vice President of Shenzhen Papercutting Art Association Xu Huiling and Chairman of Folk Literature and Art Association of Futian District, Shenzhen also attended the Opening.
