Review | Conference on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics successfully held in CUHK(SZ)

The Second CUHK-Shenzhen Conference on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics, sponsored by the Warshel Institute for Computational Biology and the School of Life and Health Sciences, supported by School of Science and Engineering at CUHK(SZ), was held successfully on May 17, 2019. A group of leading domestic and foreign scientists were invited to to share their latest research progress.

Opening

Prof. Hsien-Da Huang from LHS welcomed the guests and participants on behalf of the hosts.

Prof. Richard Ye, Dean of LHS, introduced the basic information and development progress of CUHK-Shenzhen as well as the School of Life and Health Science of CUHK(SZ) to the guests.

1st Session

Prof. Ulrich H.E. Hansmann from The University of Oklahoma gave the speech on Computational studies of protein folding, coversion and aggregation.

Prof. Ioan Andricioaei from UC Irvine gave the speech on The interplay between local and global DNA dynamics using computer simulations.
