4+1 Combined Degree Arrangement between CUHK-Shenzhen and Columbia University
Recently, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen) has reached agreement with the world-renowned School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) of Columbia University (CU) to establish a 4+1 combined degree arrangement with their Master of Public Administration in Environmental Science and Policy (MPA-ESP).
CUHK-Shenzhen students enrolled in the School of Management and Economics (SME) and School of Science and Engineering (SSE) will be eligible to apply for the MPA-ESP at end of their junior year. The admission committee of MPA-ESP will review the applications nominated by CUHK-Shenzhen and grant early admissions to the qualified students by the end of July of the junior year. Given that all instruction is in English at CUHK-Shenzhen, TOEFL requirements will be waived for CUHK-Shenzhen students.
Moreover, the current SME seniors can also apply for the MPA-ESP for the entering class that begins in May of 2018. An information session will be held on Nov 27 to further explain the application process.
