2017 Concert of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen

In order to express gratitude to friends from all walks of life who have long been concerned about the development of the university, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen 2017 Concert was held on Nov.26, 2017 at Shenzhen Concert Hall. Special guests attended the concert and enjoyed western classical music and modern pop music, together with the alumni from home and abroad, faculty, students and parents of CUHK-Shenzhen. The Concert would not be successfully held without the support from Mr. Tu Huilong, board chairperson of Hong Kong Haiya Group and Shenzhen Haiya Group, member of Governing Board of CUHK-Shenzhen. The university’s president, Professor Xu Yangsheng presented his calligraphy to Mr. Tu Huilong as a token of appreciation, in which he wrote a poem that has Chinese characters “Hai”, “Ya”, “Hui” and “Long”.

Professor Xu Yangsheng said that the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen has been constantly improving itself and made great progress in various aspects over the past years, especially in admission, science research, and faculty recruitment. Though the 2017 Concert centered on gratitude has come to an end, our friendship lasts. It is our earnest wish to meet again next year and enjoy the charm of music together. Let’s look forward to a brighter future of CUHK-Shenzhen!
