University of Toronto, McMaster University, and University of Calgary Visit CUHK-Shenzhen
Recently, delegations from University of Toronto, McMaster University and University of Calgary visited CUHK-Shenzhen.
On October 21, Prof. Shiping Zhu, Vice-President for Student and External Affairs of CUHK-Shenzhen, met with Prof. Joseph Wong, Associate Vice-President and Vice-Provost for International Student Experience of University of Toronto, in Beijing. They have reached a preliminary intention of cooperation on student exchange programs, combined degree arrangements, and research collaboration. Not long after this meeting, Prof. Wong visited CUHK-Shenzhen on invitation by Prof. Zhu. He was welcomed by Prof. Jesús Seade, Associate Vice President for Global Affairs.
Ms. Mei Chen, Program Manager of Office of International Affairs from McMaster University, visited CUHK-Shenzhen on October 23 to introduce an Entrepreneurship & Innovation Focused Summer English Program. Followed by this visit, on October 27, Mr. Kevin Ellwood, Manager of International Programs from University of Calgary visited CHUK-Shenzhen to follow up the cooperation consensus reached between the two institutions during the Vice Provost (International) of University of Calgary, Prof. Janaka Ruwanpura’s recent visit to CUHK-Shenzhen in July. They were hosted by Ms. Melody Wang, Manager of Office of Academic Links, and other representatives.
