MPhil-PhD in Economics / MPhil-PhD in Finance 2020 Fall Application is Now Open!
2020 Fall Admission to the MPhil-PhD Programme in Economics and the MPhil-PhD Programme in Finance of School of Management and Economics (SME) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-SZ), is now open for application.
Introduction
SME at CUHK-SZ has designed the MPhil-PhD programmes in Economics and Finance to provide opportunities for the students who wish to pursue a higher degree in economics and finance and to cultivate top-level talents for the research in economics and finance fields. On completion of courses, students who satisfy prescribed requirements will receive degree of CUHK.
The research of the MPhil-PhD programme in Economics focuses on microeconomic theory, applied microeconomics, financial economics, international economics, industrial organization, behavioral economics and related domains.
The research of the MPhil-PhD programme in Finance focuses on asset pricing, corporate finance and related domains.

Applicants seeking admission to a research degree programme should satisfy the following requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree with honours or above
Taken GRE or GMAT test
Fulfilled the English language proficiency requirement
Good background in mathematics or statistics
Normally completed undergraduate courses of study in economics, statistics and calculus
